Does anyone know what are the pins to be connected for connecting a quicker shifter to the WM16M MyECU?

Hi Chris,

I like to know how it connects to the quick shifter.

Does the pin 2 needs to connect to the shifter and shifter connect to ground to complete the cut off, or i need voltage to pin 2 to work.

You wont able to provide this info thus I just see if there is another who have done it able to share this info.

As far as I know only Rickf4 has used this feature and he provided details of his circuit on that same thread.
To quote

"I use a 22k resistor from +5volt to MCU in 2 and a 4u7 electrolytic cap from the in to ground. You can use the 1k resistor Cliff refers in the earlier post if you sensor is zero ohm when activated."

You can find the +5V on pin 10 and ground on pin 11.

+5 --- 22K ----- PIN 2 --- 1K ------
                  |                            |
               4u7                         | Shifter
                  |                            |
            Gnd                         Gnd

As I stated from the start the proshifter is a complete solution. I doesn't need support from the ECU to use. Doing it as above you are only using the switch from it and discarding the rest.

Hi Cliff,

After reading the 2 threads several times and looking at your diagram. I was able to connect my dynojet quickshifter switch to MyECU.

One end of the shifter switch goes a 1K resistor then to pin 2. the other end goes to gnd.

This is just the switch alone. No need for the full module.

Tested it and i work great all the way to redline.
