I have a 98ev, it was running in the shop as I was working on it,I turned it off, after that no spark-----I tried everything to fix it nothing worked-----I changed the my ecu for the original ecu from Guzzi,now I have spark-----switching back to my ecu what can I do to correct this problem?????

For what it's worth,the battery charger was most likely connected (on) :(

The first thing to look for is the fuel pump priming when turning the ignition on.
If that's ok then connecting the Optimiser to the ECU and capturing a log of the bike cranking for a few seconds.
Also you could reload the map in case that has been corrupted.

It's probably best to continue this via email.
