Use for Stock ECU
07/06/10 at 22:39:56

I wanted to have a backup for MyECU so I found a metal box large enough to take the OEM circuit board. I used a couple of resistors to make a voltage divider to go in place of the pressure sensor (~4 Volts) and instead of replacing the 26 pin connector I cut the plug off my Power Commander and soldered the wires directly onto the board. Eventually I will cut a large hole in the cover and have the PC controls exposed. I used this arrangement over the weekend to take me over a couple of fairly high hills (from sea level up past Whistler) and I can report that the lack of pressure sensor didn't seem to effect the performance.
I tried to attach a 64kb jpeg showing both ECUs but I haven't figured out the attaching yet, oh well. Sad

Hmmm, come to think of it I don't see any other pictures here either?

And here's My ECU
The blue plastic cap is the top from a milk bottle, it unscrews to reveal the connector.
