This is great! After 2 years in the wilderness - well, Highlands of Scotland, I have found out so much, in so little time, after discovering this forum. The efforts of the many (60 odd) pooled together has reinforced my learning and my confidence has soared. Cliff told me that going on the dyno so soon after building the ecu was "braveheart" mentality. Actually it was totally the opposite - I really hadn't a crappity smacking clue what I was doing.

This may stop others making the same mistrakes I made but I hope they have as much fun as I have had making other ones.

Now if I can just get the Shuberth SRC helmet system to emit voice commands to the optimiser via bluetooth for modifications to the parameters....

Crappity smacking? What sort vulgar censorship is this! A quaint derivation of "fikken" is treated to americanisms apparently!!

How bizarre....

LOL. We were discussing f*g bearings a while ago on Wildgoose or whatever forum, and the outcome was "The manufacturer isn't NTN though, it is a German company called censored (the biggest in the world, I have heard)"

Plain stupid idea.

Edit: And as you see, it was censored here too, with a * replacing the a.

Oh, a little 'friction' won't hurt (just for using a modern synonym and hang out the smart a.)

F.A.G. works. If some bean counter at MG hadn't substituted the cheap Polish made bearings for the F.A.G. ones specc'ed for the CARCs, the rear wheel on my Norge wouldn't have tried to come off at 65 mph.
