Over on the Wildguzzi.com forum we are trying to figure out the Digiplex wiring around the ECU of a 1994 California.
It has a mysterious 3 pin item 10. can anyone shed some light.
Carl Allison would also like some info to update his drawing.
The topic is coil replacement

Is that not the coil driver already mentioned in the thread?

...

I haven't got a clue as to what "L" means for a color code in italian (pin 1) so I colored it purple.

I did this drawing directly from the Digiplex diagram and I'm pretty certain that everyone on this site is fully aware that the electrode tip on a spark plug is not connected to ground. That's the way it was shown though. Maybe that's why there are so many Digiplex failures  Cool

Haven't seen that particular picture so far, too, but where else do the sparks go as to  ground?
More remarkable, for me, is the fact, that you show two independent double coils, not the usually used wasted spark versions.

It's Digiplex's drawing, all I did was convert it to color. They show dual lead coils so it's probably a generic sort of diagram and not specific to Moto Guzzi's.
