Password Reset Not Working

The password reset function is not working. After lengthy attempts to decipher the "symbol" I'll get a password reset email, but the email merely gets me into the forum. But password reset isn't allowed without your old password.

The email link doesn't actually let me change my password. It says "action not allowed from outside the domain."

Can an administrator fix the glitch?

You have obviously logging in as yourself to post this message. Why do you need the password reset? I have been adding IP address blocking recently to prevent russian and chinese spammers ( the bulk of the access to this site ). Perhaps that is what you have.

It merely grants you one-time access to the board to post messages or email. Access is lost as soon as you leave the site. Password reset can only be done from your profile, and if your account is locked-out then you can't do it. It's a catch 22.
