sign216 Full Member Offline Posts: 176	Posting Photos 03/07/12 at 09:42:46 How can I post a photo? When I use the "Insert Image" button to post a photo I have on my Flicker account, it merely inserts a link to the photo. I'd like the photo to actually appear in my message.

Then select the whole of it and press the third button from left in top row right above the edit window. Um, wait... that button must be the same you mentioned. So why did it not work for you?

My guess is you used the wrong URL from flickr.

Here is an URL that turns into a link despite image tags:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/sign216/6802912692/in/photostream/

Here is one that ends up as a picture (but without the image tags):
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7189/6802912692_fe87e75e9b_z.jpg

With image tags around it:

Still haven't worked out why Google+ & Picasa seem to have merged in terms of sharing privileges - so public sharing need resolving.
