3D Map

Do you see a chance to implement something like a 3D representation of the maps into the WMobile version of ECUControl? Same principle as now but a 3D appearance instead of today's flat grid (or better additionaly to the flat grid).

I agree that will be nice. At the moment all my development time is going on the Android version of the ECUController. It may get it first.

I'm not sure at the moment how much further I'll take the windows versions, legacy platforms and all.

Man, that's overkill this proggy. I thought a simple tilted view, the possibility to mark one cell at a time and at the bottom of the screen a plus resp. minus button would be well enough. KISS-AFF it's called I think  Smiley

I did have a look at a program called TunerStudio recently. Used for Megasquirt. It had some pretty graphs and things.
When I looked closely at it it wasn't that elegant. Big installation, map hidden in XML files, not to mention having to get the ECU to talk megasquirt protocol.

I like to think that the map format I have and a single exe file is keeping it simple.

Yep. Definitely! No need for OpenGL or DirectX, just a little help for getting an overview whether the map looks smooth or not. I had in mind something like in TuneEdit for instance.
