MyEcu Controller and Optimiser category
08/02/12 at 00:55:00

Can we have seperate categories for the MyEcu Controller and the Optimiser, visible on the first screen of the BB please. It takes ages looking for particular information wading through so many posts. I realise posts often have content covering several categories but a little more filtering would help.

For instance I have been trying to find out more about the Backup/Restore Map  and the Colourise Map functions.

Thanks.

I'm not sure if that would help but if a few others agree that is it s good idea then sure.

The main reason you are not finding anything about those two is that little has been written about them.

The backup/restore has not been mentioned before. Backup takes a copy of the ECU map and stores it in the Optimiser. Restore put that copy back in the ECU.
Not much more to say apart from it will let you restore before doing a backup and that would not be good.

The colorise has only been mentioned in the thread announcing the beta of the ECUController.

If you have any specific questions please create a thread for it.

Bobd,

Try the search function.  With search, be sure to change the default value for the time to search.  It's set for a "week" but you need it set to a much longer time.

Thanks, I have not been using the date/time field so probably explains why I did not have much luck with searching.
