TPS change out.

Just being lazy, haven't checked if this has been mentioned on here before but would be surprised if it wasn't.
If the Sport i.e. TPS (PF3C) went tits up and I wanted to substitute with another, non 3C version - say a PF1C, other than the issue of not having adjustment mechanically - i.e. no slot to rotate within, is there any other reason why it wouldn't work?

Presumably they all exhibit approx the same mV output although the PF3C curve is a dog legged one.
PF3C are getting a bit like rocking horse shit and a tad on the expensive side. PF1C on the other hand are cheaper and the rotation facility could be fashioned with plastic card, glue and a Dremel I fink.

They should work ok but have a different "curve" I believe.

At most this will require a little modification to the map but all the changes could be made to the Thro line.

Thanks Cliff, as I suspected one of the (many) benefits of your equipment would allow for such "non oem" bits to be accommodated.
