I love MyECU!

Hi All, I am ready to post my map! So, a bit of background; the Quota was running pretty poorly on the stock ECU, very rich about 7lts/100km. I had read good things about the MyECU and decided to give it a go, glad I did!
So base map chosen was the Sport 1100 from RAZ. This kind of ran out of the box better than Cliff's on the Quota. Pretty much from the off, it ran reasonably when hot. I had the feeling the ignition timing was a little too advanced particularly at lower revs. I have been through over 50 variations to date. It is running open-loop, Cliff advised me otherwise, but as there is almost no constant throttle position other than closed it seemed a bit irrelevant; I don't use any motorways and even the main roads in Austria don't have so many long straight sections!
Okay, so to the map: I have been doing most editing using notebook (so the figures are nicely rounded up). I have really retarded the ignition at the lower revs compared with many of the maps on the site. I am finding this is giving great traction out of corners. One problem that persisted for a long time, was the cold starting. The bike started, but up to about 50°C oil temperature ran like a dog. I found this to be linked to the very early injection times at low revs on RAZ's map. I think on the Quota it was squirting the fuel in before there was any air-flow, once warm it was probably helped by the heat of the engine to remain vapour. Anyway cutting back the injector advance sorted it. The Quota has different cams so, I hope this helps anyone else looking for a Quota or perhaps California upgrade.
Final comments: I did a ride the other day that returned 4.8ltrs/100km across the mountains (we climbed at least 2500 vertical meters). Generally, I feel the bike is set up well, but will be watching the plugs to make sure it is not running too weak.
