As far as I know only Rickf4 has used this feature and he provided details of his circuit on that same thread.
To quote

You can find the +5V on pin 10 and ground on pin 11.

+5 --- 22K ----- PIN 2 --- 1K ------

As I stated from the start the proshifter is a complete solution. I doesn't need support from the ECU to use. Doing it as above you are only using the switch from it and discarding the rest.
